DeMatteis, is no stranger to the Green Lantern franchise, and wisely infuses the episode with as many of the characters and ideas inherent to the GL Corps that one could possibly include in a twenty-minute story. The episode's writer, veteran comics scribe J.M. To be perfectly clear, this episode's success hinges largely on its incorporation of the Green Lantern Corps, and all the rich sci-fi concepts that come along with that beloved superhero franchise.
